Sight loss plight

I’m up the creek without a paddle

Like a duck that just can’t waddle

Every time I lose more sight

I simply run and take flight

It is a silly thing to do

Instead of trying to think it through

No one really understands my plight

Nor understands my unending fight

As my picture fades away

Each and every single day

Making every day tasks so much harder

Like finding biscuits in my larder

So be patient with me please

I really do not mean to tease

Bonkers you may think I be

But really I am just little old me

I’d like to spend some time with you

This is so very true

So give a hand to poor dear Rosy
She isn’t mad nor somewhat dosy!
Just herself with Glaucoma
It truly is a bit of a bummer!

I became interested in poetry and try to write about things from my heart that are associated with events in my life or events going on in the World at large or closer to home. I have a blog page on Wordpress where I share my poetry, art, photography, thoughts and favourite quotes and prayers at
