now are we at our tether
we suffer with the weather!
it is hot
is it not
and if its cold
we are not bold
we shiver
and we quiver
if the wind blows
our faces glow
and we grimace
and pull a face
then if the rain falls
soaked to the skin
we then begin…
to moan again!
what of the weather
we cannot cope
trains cant run
if its too hot or cold
or even if a leaf on the line behold
if it snows the roads are like ice
and in a trice
we all trip over
and oh what a bother!
if its sunny and no rain
then we have a drought again!
the weather takes up all our time
and there is plenty to put to rhyme
the elements really rule our being
every day whilst we are seeing
hot and cold wet and windy too
the weather affects both me and you
so go and have a good day
and dont let the weather get in your way!
