I sit here

And wonder why

As the day goes by

What is the meaning of all this

And where I am

And what to do

Here I am

I’ll see it through

Each day I feel a muddle

So I sit in a huddle

And watch the time go by

And just say hi

What a to do

But I’ll see it through

There is a step to climb

And door to open

A road to walk

It’s all happening

But it’s not that easy

But I will go

If you know what I mean

I’m always keen

To get going

And carry on

There are ups

There are downs

Some times I smile

And sometimes I frown

Days are joyful

Then they are sad

And sometimes quiet

And sometimes mad

It’s a bit coy

Oh boy

Then sometimes a bother

The days are short

No time to hover

So I’ll carry on

Let’s get going

There is time

But never knowing

Enjoy it if you can

This thing called Life

Since it began!

Here I am

I’ll see it through

Won’t you?

I became interested in poetry about a year ago and try to write about things from my heart that are associated with events in my life or events going on in the World at large or closer to home. I have a blog page on Wordpress where I share my poetry, art, photography, thoughts and favourite quotes and prayers at
