Tick Tock

Saturdays ditty is a little reminder folks in uk on the last Saturday in March

Tick Tock the Passage of Time

time waits for no man

so they say

so remember to put your clocks forward today!

in a minute an hour is lost

And some sleep

what a cost!

but the daylight will linger longer now

so lets not get in a row

as to

should we

shant we

could we

wont we

change the clocks for summertime

its just fine

by October they will go back again once more

that hour you lost will be brought back

so you see

there is a nack

to this clock changing

and time rearranging!

so remember to change your watches and alarms

you know it brings charm

to be late or early with an excuse to chime

so that is the end of this rhyme

tick tock tick tock

oh I forgot!

what time is it for sure

good night all

I became interested in poetry about a year ago and try to write about things from my heart that are associated with events in my life or events going on in the World at large or closer to home. I am a visual artist and still am to a certain extent having exhibited some of my work as a visually impaired artist using sponges to paint. I have lost most of my eyesight in recent years to advanced glaucoma and my vision is now very limited I am finding my creativity now evolving in writing poetry and hope to publish my own book of verse in the future. I have a blog page on Wordpress where I share my poetry, art, photography, thoughts and favourite quotes and prayers at https://rosypoems.com
