I got a new Christmas Tree arrived in a box….

Cat In A Box Not For Sox

A lovely box

Too big for sox

But it’s just right

I won’t put up a fight

As I sit here

In this box

Not meant for sox

A Christmas tree

Inside was found

Ready for the season

And that is why

I sit in this box

Not meant for sox!

For no particular reason!

Sox need only

A box much smaller

Cos a Christmas Tree is taller

So more room in my box

Not meant for sox

To jump around

And be a pussycat clown

Don’t get me wrong

Small boxes are cool

But you’d be a fool

If you didn’t think

This box was fun

Just as the Christmas season

Has begun

Cats love boxes

For Christmas trees or soxes

So I’ll sit here

Without a fear

And peep out

Or hide

And disappear

Meow!
