A word we speak

So powerful it may be

It leaves your tongue

To hear not see

And there it is

You can’t take it back

And that is that!

It happens in a flash

And before you dash

To say something you regret

Oh heck!

Hold your tongue!

And do not boss or tell people what they should do

It really is up to you

Your mind can be frazzled with different decisions

Without real vision

Of what is best

To do…don’t hide

you decide!

And be beware of those characters who try and manipulate your mind

Very unkind

Who try to make you feel like you are bad

It will drive you mad!

It is very sad

They are bullies

In itchy woollies!

That try and scratch your brain

And put you in a drain

It’s because they have done bad

And want it to be had

That you are badder than they

When hey!

You are good as gold

So hold onto your heart

And don’t let go

The truth will always somehow show!

The world is full of people kind and some not quite so

So remember this saying that often goes by

And be mindful of what you say and do

Because believe me when I say it will come back to you

Treat others as you would like to be treated yourself

And leave bad manners on the shelf
