time moves on we have sorrows and happiness and life is ever changing
A Fair Wind
a fair wind blew it bought a change
the sun shone brightly through the haze
the world still spun
and life moves on
we cannot stop it
our feet are walking
we are talking
and there is peace
let sorrows die
and the past filter behind us
bring joy and happiness
on this new moon
as we find a new way
this day
is for change
and happiness
and hope
our days move fast
we must enjoy them
and cherish our dreams
life ever changing
the ups
the downs
bring the good things to us
and enjoy the days we have before us
keep the sorrows tucked away
and keep a smile
and enjoy your life be grateful while
your heart beats

I became interested in poetry and try to write about things from my heart that are associated with events in my life or events going on in the World at large or closer to home. I am a visual artist and still am to a certain extent having exhibited some of my work as a visually impaired artist using sponges to paint. I have lost most of my eyesight in recent years to advanced glaucoma and my vision is now very limited I am finding my creativity now evolving in writing poetry and hope to publish my own book of verse in the future.
