Katy’s in a flap again!

Katy my cat often sits by the cat flap for ages before she decides to go out …I wonder what she is thinking ….

Katy’s in a flap again!

Katy cat sits by the flap

Shall I shan’t I

Would it be a mishap

I do so want to go out there

But sure I am going to get a scare

The cat next door is not my friend

And my territory I have to defend

We meow at each other very loudly you see

Whilst my mum says ask her in for tea

You could chat about feline things this and that

Instead of wearing this mean hat!

Then a fox strolls by

i give a big sigh

its a bit scarey

if not a bit larey

so going through the flap

it is a trap

i think i will go

and see what there is to know

Polly is always by my side

not only is she mums Guide

she keeps an eye on things out there

so that i don’t get an awful scare

it used to be so safe you know

i didn’t have to lie this low

but now its busy with cats and foxes too

it really does make me blue

so i will go and lie on my bed so snug

i don’t often get the bug

you see

its not for me

to venture out the cat flap too often me

its just a plate of tasty morsels you see

for me to eat

my lifes complete

then have a nap

because often there is a mishap

if through the cat flap i do go

i will go out there in a mo

as it is difficult sometimes somewhere

to cope with all the adventures out there

that i have go its all so risky

even if I’m feeling frisky

and want to galavant around

in this outdoor world which does abound

so ill cuddle up and eat my fish

its placed upon this tasty dish

and go through the flap another day

that is all i have to really say
